Still in the Frame

12 oktober 2025

Tante Cocky is helaas in 2019 overleden.

Songtekst

She’s missed in ways too vast to name, in quiet rooms, in laughter’s flame. Her love still lingers in the air, a gentle touch that’s everywhere.

Born in Amsterdam, 1952, a girl with books and tram rides, quiet mornings, curious eyes, dreaming beyond the city lines.

She met her love in a city in the east, a school, a spark, a life begun. In '73, they said “I do,” and built a world with daughters, sons.

She read aloud with tender voice, each story stitched into their sleep. Zoo days, laughter, muddy shoes— memories she vowed to keep.

Behind her smile, a quiet ache, her father's loss carved something deep. Yet she gave more than she received, a soul that never ceased to reach.

From a village wrapped in fields and light, where church bells mark the days and nights, to a wooded place of calm and grace, each home a chapter, warm and true. She watched her children bloom and grow, and found her joy in all they knew.

Then came the gift of grandma’s name— a title worn with pride and grace. She saw her life in tiny hands, in every grandchild’s shining face.

She loved a film where laughter heals, where care and courage break the seals. A tale of two, worlds far apart, yet joined by humor, soul, and heart.

She left in 2019’s arms, but never truly said goodbye. Her photos still hold breath and light, her voice still echoes in the sky.

And he, who walks with quiet steps, still sees her in the morning sun. In every frame, in every laugh, she lives in all that she’s begun.

Spoken:
To My Love I love you deeply, always near. Laugh, cry, and live. I’m here. I’ll wait for you beyond the skies. Take care, be kind, and let love rise.
